Aaaaahhhhhh. That's the sigh of relief you'll feel when you stop by our certified visiting masseuse and receive a revitalizing massage Monday afternoon. Take 10 minutes out of your day to relieve tension, power up with juice, and recharge before heading off to Thanksgiving break. Make time for a little self-care by signing up for your own time-slot.
Co-sponsored by GWIB and the Darden Resilience Initiative.

Our annual Pink Party will help raise money for Breast Cancer research, as well as support the goal of raising awareness. Wear pink to show your support, and send donations via Venmo to @DardenBBSA (any amount is appreciated)! All donations will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Spend two days connecting with recruiters, learning tips for how to be successful in business, and reflecting on what it means to be your best and authentic self. The event will kick off with an elegant dinner at UVA Alumni Hall on Thursday evening and will be followed with a full day of programming at Darden on Friday.
See highlights from both days under 2018 Conference tab!
This recurring, quarterly dinner club initiative is your opportunity to develop meaningful connections with other women between both class years and across sections! GWIB sponsors a max of 6 dinner groups of 5 (30 women total) and we'll cover up to $10/person for however you all plan to coordinate dinner - eat in or dine out, just keep your receipts!
This past week has been a particularly difficult one felt by many members of our community, the country and around the world as we witness another case of sexual assault and violence in the news. If you are interested in processing what’s happening in Washington and the heroic testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, there will be a designated discussion space this with Dr. Debbie Wilson, Darden’s resident psychologist. This will not be a forum for policy discussion, but rather a place for mutual support and healing. We hope to see you there!
Ladies! It’s crazy how time flies when we’ve been caught up with juggling classes, clubs and re-recruiting. Join us for a Wine Down Wednesday next week to take a breath and celebrate the end of Q1. Come champagne cheers to all of your accomplishments so far and to all those to come! We’ll have wine, cheese, snacks, LeCroix and water too for all to share.
Wondering what a career in finance might look like? Come hear successful female representatives from investment banking, asset management, and private wealth management share their experiences working in male-dominated and competitive fields.
Attire is business casual. Event is open to first and second years of all genders.
Join us for a panel of international Darden women and allies to hear stories about how they developed their gender identity in their countries of origin. We invite you to engage in our global conversation on the gendered messages women receive as girls, the archetypes and expectations for women in business & leadership, and the impact that coming to Darden has on gender identity.
Join us Tuesday, July 25 at 7pm for the GWIB Summer Google Hang Out! We'll send out a calendar hold and a link for how to join the call after you RSVP :)
We’ll share the randoms things we obsessed over last summer (for me it was if I should get a round or rectangular dining table/work space - go figure!) and answer questions you have on the brain.
Q1 at a Glance
We’ll pull back the curtain and walk through our Q1 experiences and give you some sneak peaks of what to expect. Ever wondered how you find out your Section or your Learning Team? Curious about TNDC, the Neon Party and Darden Cup? Want to know how you’ll get involved with clubs (like GWIB!) those first few weeks? We’ll talk through our experiences and make sure you are in the know.
*All are welcome to join, regardless of gender identity*
